On the balcony, when the night grew dark
The night when we watched the stars
And the moon shone bright, illuminating the darkest parts;
Right there and then, I saw how the dark move into your heart
The specs on each one’s eyes,
Were those that I didn’t understand;
Or those feet that had walked dusts and miles
Only seemed to me you needed a helping hand
You grow apart from reality
And lived most inside your head;
I dare not know how it turned out badly,
Because it was once a memory to me.
