Glow Stick

In order for us to glow,
we need to have a
taking turn―to break
a little, and after that
we will burn to sparkle.

Safe Haven

The crisp air of October
that has got me shivered,
making the leaves swing
as the hum of the birds sings,

I went to a nearby coffee shop,
and after, made a bookstore escapade,
sifting every books my hands touched―
always overwhelmed in a quiet hush.

It’s always been like this,
in every places I’ve always missed,
that I found my safe haven―
Closest to home, and to your name.

the best part

remember when you told me
the stars twinkles and the moon
shines so bright you were in awe?
it was at that moment I saw
how your eyes lit up, bare and raw;
your lips curled up in the corner
and I’ve realized while you were
saying so, that you were the part
of something beautiful.

Beautiful Hues

I really love the art of the sky when it changes to different colors as if it owned me. It gives me the feeling of bursting hope I didn’t know existed. But most importantly, the impressive hands of the One who created this masterpiece owns me and shown that everything and anything, He can make it into something beautifully. 🌆

The Ocean

the ecstatic luminous golden rays,
reflecting on the waving sea,
its vastness and deepness to explore,
and the wind blowing along the shore,
gives me something close to infinite.

In Between Silence

I want to sit next to you and stare out into space, just to hear our silence mix into the ocean waves. Because then, for sure, I will know that in between those, we’re there for each other.

Painting

eyes like hers
are somewhat
painted in between
the shade of the sky,
and the depths of
her soul that’s lived
many centuries ago.

Tattered Hues

She’s a colorful hue
painted not only in blue
Her heart a vessel one
a mosaic and an art
She painted him in red
a poetry that is dead
Her heart in two
for a tattered hue

Banner of Getaway

I am enchanted with my own thoughts, sometimes. Getting lost to an imaginary place and being different in my own way. Lulled by my solitude, I withdraw myself to get back to reality and let myself drown into my parallel existence. In that place, the ‘banner’ of my escape is my comfort in this noisy world. I call this ‘place’ a home.
